The Journal of the Blue Economy & Sustainable Energy Development is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published scholarly content. The journal adopts reliable archiving and digital preservation practices to guarantee that published articles remain permanently available to the academic community.
Digital Preservation
The journal utilises recognized digital archiving systems to preserve its electronic content and ensure long-term accessibility of published materials.
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)
The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides free preservation services for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS). This network ensures that published articles are securely archived and preserved for long-term access even if the journal website becomes unavailable.
LOCKSS / CLOCKSS Compatibility
The journal supports archiving through systems compatible with LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and other distributed preservation networks that ensure multiple secure copies of published content are stored across participating libraries.
Institutional and Library Archiving
Libraries and academic institutions are permitted to archive and store the journal’s published articles for scholarly and educational purposes, ensuring broader access and long-term preservation.
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted to deposit the final published version of their articles in:

· Subject repositories
· Personal or institutional websites
provided that proper citation to the journal publication is included.
Permanent Access
